How It All Started…And How It’s Going
Back in 2019, Mariah was an intern for another farm for her college course, while there she found her love for farming and managing the land. Mariah knew her niche was flowers when she went to farmer’s markets and they didn’t offer the bouquets she wanted. After she started farming she found out how much work it was and asked her sister Hannah to help out. Hannah joined in a couple months later taking on the role of co-owner and creative director. A couple years later and now there is a skincare line, flowers, and dried flowers. As Mariah got her “big girl job”, Hannah has taken on a larger role and will be the one you see at weekly farmers markets.
Dirty Boots Floral loves to be able to bring nature into your homes from the small but mighty flower farm. Being so small allows Dirty Boots Floral to connect with the community and make a ton of life-long friends. This is one of the many joys of a farm.

Mariah Stephens
Co-Owner
Mariah is the brains behind Dirty Boots Floral. Always the busy bee, Mariah has graduated Chico State with a Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science while starting the business. She’s passionate about community events and agriculture. If she’s not in the field, hopefully you can catch her at one of the many local spots in town.
Hannah Stephens
Co-Owner
Hannah is the head of our design team and the hands behind the apothecary. If she isn’t working in the fields she’s making some sort of art. In her free time, Hannah loves to create; costumes, eco-dying, and prints are just some of what she does.
